I didn't want to be right

I have been a fan of Chris D'elia on some of the shows he's acted on, but saw a short video of his Gotham standup and thought he was definitely a partaker with the audience. That was not the case at his show in San Antonio. He was so rude to the audience! At one point a girl screamed "I love you! Marry me!" And he said "shut the f up". Also threatened to kick a guy out after the guy gave Chris a compliment. Made an accusation that all Texans are republicans. His jokes were similar to Dane Cook in the sense that they were of things we all think about. I don't want that... I want you to joke about things I haven't thought of myself. The younger crowd enjoyed him, but me (being almost the same age as Chris) thought all the humor was lame. I wanted to like it, but I was really unimpressed.
